Who could have thought…an unconventional story of a daughter in search of her father and her carefree mother would move millions across the globe? The genius Phyllida Lloyd, of course. The incredibly successful force behind the hit film and original musical, she continues her legacy with direction in the musical version, supported by Catherine Johnson’s book and the hypnotizing charm of ABBA’s greatest hits. Woven together from the Swedish pop group’s discography, the show explores the unexpected ways families come together.

On a sun-bleached Greek island, Sophie stands at the precipice of her wedding day on a mission to discover her father's identity. Her targets: three unsuspecting men from her mother Donna's past, each a potential suitor she met on the same island decades ago. As the Mediterranean sun shines over her future, Sophie's quest metamorphizes into an exploration of love's unpredictable cartography. Find the man who finally walks the bride-to-be down the aisle with tickets to Mamma Mia: The Musical in London.

Best of the best!! Not only was Abba "there" but Céline Dion was in the audience on this wonderful evening. Stylish lighting and incredibly authentic that you could almost believe it was 1974 again. Good recharge before at Snoozbar outside the arena. Worth every €.

The booking experience was both quick and easy. One suggestion is that if you use the underground to Victoria which exit to use from the station as we chose the wrong one and it took some time to find the theatre.
