Absolutely! ZSL London Zoo is included with the London Pass, offering you an easy, contactless entry alongside other iconic London spots.
No, tickets are separate. You can book your tickets to Whipsnade Zoo here!
No need to cancel your safari dreams — ZSL London Zoo is open rain or shine, and there are plenty of indoor exhibits to duck into if it pours.
Oh yes, it’s a dream! From the splashy Penguin Beach to the playgrounds, little ones will have the time of their lives.
Yes! Don’t miss the famous Penguin Feeding at Penguin Beach, and check out the daily schedule for talks and feedings with lions, meerkats, and more.
You can’t touch most animals for their safety (and yours!), but there are special experiences like Meet the Monkeys, where you can walk through an enclosure and see them up close without barriers.
Don’t miss Rainforest Life — you walk through a steamy tropical world packed with sloths and bats. Or step into Tiny Giants to discover life under the microscope!
Early mornings are pure bliss — cooler temperatures and active animals! Plus, if you visit midweek outside school holidays, you’ll dodge most of the crowds.
Arriving about 15–20 minutes early gives you enough time to breeze through security and soak in the buzz before diving into the wild fun.
To do justice to the animal magic, set aside about 4–5 hours. There’s so much to see — and you’ll want time to watch the animal feedings and catch a few keeper talks too!
Dress comfy! Think casual clothes, comfy shoes (lots of walking involved), and layer up if it’s chilly. And don’t forget your raincoat — this is London, after all.
Not strictly, but there are handy maps and recommended routes to help you cover all the must-see spots without missing a beat.
Absolutely. From Easter at the Zoo to festive Christmas celebrations with Santa, there’s something magical happening all year round.
Here’s a good one: It’s where the first-ever reptile house opened in 1849 — and where a scene from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was filmed!
