Lego Festival returns to LEGOLAND Windsor from 20 July to 31 August 2026, bringing themed play zones, building activities, live entertainment and character meet-and-greets. Festival activities are included with eligible park admission and passes.

What to expect at LEGOLAND Windsor during Lego Festival

Lego Festival turns a summer day at LEGOLAND Windsor into a mix of rides, hands-on building, music, live shows and themed play zones. You can combine the festival activities with the park’s regular rides and attractions rather than treating them as a separate event.

  • Five festival zones: The 2026 programme features five distinct areas, covering LEGO Pokémon, F1, music, creative building and quieter play. Each has its own activities, characters or entertainment.
  • LEGO Pokémon Play Zone: Train at the interactive Trainer Center, build a LEGO Poké Ball and meet a giant LEGO Pikachu. The 15-minute Trainer Center activity uses a virtual queue through the park app, subject to availability.
  • F1 Thrill Zone: Take on the Brick Stop Challenge, build and test an F1 car, watch the Pit Lane Hype show and pose with the LEGO Pit Crew.
  • Music Zone: Watch the Battle of the Bands show, meet LEGO characters Melody Raye and Lyric, and contribute to the giant LEGO Festival mosaic.
  • Creative Zone: Build in The Creatureverse, watch Master Model Builder shows and add to the LEGO Panda and Peacock displays.
  • Chill Out Zone: Head to the garden-themed area for LEGO Botanicals Build & Bloom, the Playtime with Hopsy show and a quieter setting away from the more energetic festival areas.

For a full-day visit, it makes sense to combine the festival zones with rides rather than trying to complete all the festival activities in one stretch. Check the app for show timings and any activities that use timed or virtual queues.

LEGO Pokémon Play Zone

The LEGO Pokémon Play Zone combines building with interactive play. Take part in the 15-minute LEGO Pokémon Trainer Center, build a LEGO Poké Ball and pose with LEGO Pikachu. A virtual queue operates for the zone and can be joined through the app on the day, subject to availability.

F1 Thrill Zone

Race-inspired activities take centre stage here. Work together on the LEGO Formula 1 Brick Stop Challenge, design and test your own F1 car, then catch the Pit Lane Hype show and take photos with the LEGO Pit Crew and on the winner’s podium.

LEGO Music Zone

LEGOLAND Windsor sits on the B3022 Windsor/Ascot Road, around two miles from Windsor town centre.

  • By train: Great Western Railway services run from London Paddington to Windsor & Eton Central via Slough in around 30 minutes. South Western Railway services run from London Waterloo to Windsor & Eton Riverside in under an hour.
  • By bus: Green Line 702 and 703 services connect with central Windsor and Slough. A separate shuttle bus operates from stops near the railway stations to the resort and is chargeable.
  • By car: Follow the LEGOLAND signs from the M3, M25 or M4 rather than relying solely on sat-nav.
  • Parking: On-site parking is available close to the resort entrance. Standard parking currently costs £13 per vehicle, with Priority Parking available for £18.
  • Restrooms: Toilets are available throughout the resort, with accessible facilities provided for guests with additional needs. Locations can be checked through the LEGOLAND app.
  • Baby changing: Baby-changing facilities are available at toilet blocks around the park.
  • Pushchairs: Single and double pushchairs can be hired from The LEGO Store at The Beginning, with pre-booking available.
  • Food and drinks: Restaurants, cafés, snack outlets and sweet-treat stops are spread across the park, including City Walk Pizza & Pasta, Pirate’s Burger Kitchen and Farmer Joe’s Chicken Company.
  • Cashless payments: Food outlets are cashless, accepting contactless, Apple Pay, Android Pay and major debit and credit cards.
  • Wheelchair access: Most resort pathways are suitable for wheelchairs, although some sections are steep and may require additional assistance.
  • Wheelchair hire: A limited number are available from Guest Services for £10, with a refundable £50 deposit. Availability is first come, first served.
  • Mobility scooters: Limited scooters can be booked in advance for £25, with a refundable £50 holding deposit. They are intended for guests aged 18 and over.
  • Ride Access Pass: Guests who cannot use standard ride queues because of a disability or medical condition can apply for and pre-book the Ride Access Pass through the Merlin Ride Access Pass app.
  • Festival activities: Individual activities and attractions may have their own access requirements, so check the accessibility information before joining a queue or activity.
  • Assistance dogs: Assistance dogs are welcome at the resort but cannot accompany guests on rides, except the Hill Train.
  • Carer tickets: Eligible disabled guests can receive one complimentary carer ticket with appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Sensory support: A total sensory space and sensory guide are available for guests who may benefit from additional preparation or a quieter environment.
  • Virtual queue: The LEGO Pokémon Play Zone uses a virtual queue through the app, subject to availability. Check the app before heading there.
  • Ride restrictions: Height, age and other safety restrictions apply to individual rides and attractions. Check the relevant restriction board before joining a queue.
  • Festival activities: Shows, characters, building activities and other festival elements are subject to availability and may change.
  • Food and drink: Guests can bring their own food and non-alcoholic drinks into the resort. Alcohol cannot be brought onto the site.
  • Payments: Food and beverage outlets operate cashlessly, so carry a card or use a contactless payment method.
  • Assistance dogs: Assistance dogs must remain supervised and on a lead; they cannot be left unattended while the guest rides.

LEGOLAND Windsor has plenty of places to eat between festival activities, from sit-down meals to quick snacks and drinks.

  • City Walk Pizza & Pasta: Located in Heartlake City, this all-you-can-eat buffet serves pizza, pasta and salad, with vegetarian and vegan options available.
  • Pirate’s Burger Kitchen: Head to Pirate Shores for burgers, chicken tenders and sides, with vegan options and indoor seating available.
  • Farmer Joe’s Chicken Company: Located in DUPLO Valley, this family-friendly restaurant serves chicken, tenders, fries and sides, making it convenient for families with younger children.
  • LEGOLAND Coffee Co.: Coffee kiosks and cafés are positioned across the resort for quick drinks, sandwiches, snacks and sweet treats.
