Windsor Day Trips

Everything is great, very nice and an excellent organization. Only I could not enter the St. George's Cathedral. Personally it is an unforgettable experience.

Excellent tour, punctual departures, very friendly driver.

According to the description, the tour was supposed to last 5.5 hours in total. However, the entire experience was closer to 4 hours, including travel time. This left us with significantly less time at the castle than expected. In practice, we had only about 2 hours allocated to Windsor Castle, but in reality it was closer to 1.5 hours once we factored in the walking distance from the bus to the entrance. As a result, we felt rushed throughout the visit and had to hurry through the castle in order to see everything.

Really very interesting. However, it was extremely hot and crowded. they could have figured out a better system for entry

Beautiful location beautiful town

I wa s misled with this experience. This was a joint experience with the final destination to be Tower of London which I didn't sign up for and was dropped off at Earls court instead of the Victoria where I was picked up. I had to spend additional fare to get back to where I needed to be and I really feel the experience's pricing was including the Tower of London which I didn't sign up. Disappointed with Anderson Tours with the ending.

Not at all because you only pay for transportation and the entrance fee, the guide leaves you at the door, and does not advise people of the activity inside. You only have 2 hours inside and there is not enough time and we could not see everything.

The details on the meeting point were not clear. It was assumed there was a guide but turned out that the Yeoman guide was provided by the site and there were over 200 people in the group. The tickets we purchased were therefore of no advantage to us.

The castle, but not tge experience getting there. We were told to meet a representative of the tour company at 8:50 and we would have a choice between an air conditioned coach or taking the train. The representative from the local tour company never showed. I called and was emailed e-tickets for the Tran from Paddington to Windsor and back. Then left to figure out the rest on our own, including having to transfer trains as there isn't a direct train from Paddington to Windsor. Extremely disappointed. If I knew it was going to be like this, I would have researched it and bought the tickets directly. While I would highly recommend visiting Windsor Castle, I will suggest to others they avoid this package as long as headiut is using this local vendor.

Very pleasant outward and return journey, friendly and attentive driver. Pick-ups and drop-offs were on time. We had 3 hours to visit Windsor, and we were very satisfied with this activity.

The issue we had was being dropped off 40 minute from our hotel. Were we took it was walking distance and due to this we had to incur the taxi charge. Also the bus had no leg room

Punctuality, visit full of interesting accounts of the lives of the British royals, a thank you to the 'driver who was very good both in driving and in illustrating and guiding us to the tour of the castle

It was much better than ticketing and boarding the Virgin Atlantic flight the next day! We really enjoyed the tour of the palace but would have liked to take photographs.

I would have gladly given up the ride to Bath for an extra hour at Windsor Castle. Despite arriving before the opening, as this trip is organized, one does not even have time to follow the entire audio guide. A real shame

The service provided by Saúl and the driver was great. The tour was bilingual, which required the guide to translate into two languages constantly. At times, he seemed a bit rushed, and there was little time to ask questions about the sites, but overall, he did a good job with the description of each place. The driver was kind and punctual at every stop. My main issue was with the operator’s communication: although they sent me the meeting point — even with a photo — they did not specify that we had to enter the bus terminal to board the tour bus. We arrived 20 minutes early at the indicated location, and if it hadn’t been for other passengers who were also confused (but had been told the gate number), we would have missed the tour. The person who greeted us was a bit rude, assuming we were late, which was not the case. We also ended up sitting separately for nearly the entire 9-hour trip. As for the itinerary, the tour — as the guide described it — was a “tapas-style” experience: just a small taste of each place. Windsor deserves at least two hours of visit, not counting the long queues, which, honestly, aren’t much affected by using a tour operator or not. Bath, in my opinion, didn’t need quite so much time. There were far too many people at this time of year. Lastly, we were able to enjoy Stonehenge a bit more, but still had to rush back to the bus. This tour might be more enjoyable if done by a rental car. That would allow for more flexibility and time in each location, especially Windsor, where taking your time is genuinely worth it.

The guide, Peter, proved to be friendly and knowledgeable. The organization was also efficient. In short, we enjoyed the experience and would gladly repeat it

I paid for 4 tours of Bath -- specifically the Roman Baths -- and the tour operator did not have it on their list. I wish to have a partial refund for those tickets that I did not receive.

There is little time for each visit

Nice experience. Nothing more. If I went back I don't know if I would do it again (especially evaluating price-what we got). 1) First of all, I advise those who are undecided whether to take the guide in Italian or English to NOT choose the one in Italian. The guide we had, although she was nice, kind and helpful, you could really tell she was not a native Italian speaker. He certainly made himself understood, but since Italian was a second language for him the explanations he gave us during the trip were brief, frivolous, and of little consequence (perhaps due precisely to the language impediment). We might as well have chosen an English tour, since at all three attractions the tour guide left us at the entrance and did not enter with us: he was practically chaperoning us (which was NOT clearly specified from the reservation in my opinion). At each attraction there was audioguide in different languages, so perhaps it would have been more convenient to have the tour guide in English so that we would have received more information about what we were visiting during the trip. 2) As a second point I would like to emphasize is the fact of the bus ride. The bus was comfortable and air-conditioned, but it is still a vehicle subject to road traffic. In fact, we lost about an hour during the leg from Stonehenge to Bath by being stopped because of a traffic jam due to an intersection. This resulted in the visit to Bath taking only 1h (VERY fast). I thought that because of this delay they would increase the time of the last visit, but no, in fact, quite the opposite. The guide explained to us later that the driver has a maximum limit of hours during which he can be on duty. In addition, in fact, in order not to overrun the hours of service, we had to be dropped off at a different station on the way back and not at our departure station in London to save time. Practically one spends more time on the bus than visiting the attractions since in Windsor we were 2h, in Stonehenge 1h and a half and in Bath we were 1h, while on the bus about 5h and a half. In my opinion a factor to be reviewed. 3) As mentioned above, the timings for visiting the attractions are really short in the sense that if you have to visit the castle or the Roman baths you have to go through the rooms quickly and then you practically do not even have time to wander around the streets of the town for a moment since you have to immediately reach the meeting point to get back on the bus. All in all as a grade for this experience, when I think back on how much I paid, I would give it a 5. However, the places visited were very nice (maybe Stonehenge I would have skipped if I had the chance) but unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy them at all because the time was really tight.

The sites we visited were remarkable, but we didn't have enough time to enjoy them all. At Windsor Castle, we could only see the apartments and didn't have enough time to visit the dolls' house, as there were far too many people queuing up and we only had 1 hour's time on site. For stonehenge we only had an hour's stop: 30 minutes out and 30 minutes back on foot, i.e. 2 minutes and 30 seconds to admire the site. Visits to Bath, a charming city, but we ended up paying £60 for 2 even though I had already booked our tickets for the Roman baths when we booked the excursion. What's more, there was no time to take the time to eat. It would have been more correct to say that we would have taken a picnic when booking the ticket. And the audioguide could not be used in French.

I had problem with transport service, Missed coach just by 3 mins, they didn't wait even 1 min which is very bad.

The sights were spectacular. I bought my ticket from the app, which did not make it clear that I had to buy another ticket to tour the Roman Baths, so all I did was walk around and admire the architecture of that pretty little city. More time needs to be given to the visit at Windsor Castle because I only had time to see two things: the chapel and Queen Mary's apartment.

Everything about our trip to Windsor/Stonehenge/Oxford was amazing! Our guide Phil and our driver Amajit were very helpful. Phil is an outstanding guide and very informative about our journey and destinations. We had a great time and we will definitely use the agency more in the future!

The staff is excellent Ana the guide and Greg the driver. The sites visited are really beautiful.

the places that we visited were unique, all the precious informations that Ana our guide provided us were the salt and pepper of our excursion. Also the driver Lucian was very kind and drive us safely home.

You get a great overview in 1 day about 3 amazing tourist sites and besides the explanations in English and Spanish of the super energetic guide, you have time to explore a few moments also on your own: was a great day out of town! I loved it. Bibi

A packed day out, starting on time and well organized from Victoria Coach Station. Richard scored with charm, wit and excellent knowledge. All in all - two of the three destinations would be completely sufficient, as otherwise it would be very stressful and there would be hardly any time to take a closer look at one or the other (e.g. @ Windsor - State Apartments and Cape Town). @ Windsor - the state apartments and the chapel can hardly be visited in the short time available - it's more like running through).

The walk in Oxford was nice and it was great that we were able to also make a quick visit to Ashmoleam Museum

The information about the boarding point was insufficient, by the time I got there the bus had already left, so I ended up going only to Stonehenge and with a guide who spoke only English. The ticket also didn't make it clear which company was responsible for the transfer.

Good morning, I bought a tour to Stonehenge, Windsor and Oxford. I followed everything that was written in the app and arrived at the meeting point at 7:45 am (I even took a picture of the clock marking that time). However, the meeting point described in the app was not correct and I missed the tour. I therefore request a refund of the amount paid, as I arrived on time, but the meeting point was not the one indicated in the app. Other people also missed the tour.

The first indication to get the bus were not well defined and i missed the bus!

Comfortable bus. Driver Patrick and guide Chrissie friendly and Chrissie knew a lot about all the sights. Everything was well organized. Despite not being able to go to Oxford due to a blowout on the highway. Fortunately Patrick was able to stop the bus on an emergency lane. Waiting for new transportation took time and it was too late to go to Oxford. Even so, we were still on the road for 11 hours. We were to receive a refund from the bus company. This was also arranged the same day. Too bad v Oxford, can happen and handled well and quickly.

Ana the tour guide and Gary the bus driver were great. Gary kept us all on time to the different location. Ana's wealth of historical information made the trip exciting. Ana spoke both in Spanish and English to keep the participants engaged throughout the day. Ana added in humor and made us laugh. She is a gem. I would certainly go on another tour with Anna and Gary!

The tour attractions didn't disappoint and Chrissy was an AMAZING and FUN TOUR GUIDE!!!!
