Everything is incredible: the castle's structure, the objects on display with their explanations. It's like traveling back in time for a moment. The crown jewels are fascinating; it's a shame you can't photograph them.

It's great 👍🏻 I highly recommend the experience, you learn a lot about the history of this monument as well as the history of the crown in general. From the age of knights to various wars, both recent and distant, the immersion is total 👌🏼 And what can I say about the crown jewels? They are simply magnificent. 🤩 I highly recommend it.

Easy to book, and a good price! The experience itself was really enjoyable. Our hotel was next to Tower Bridge, so a visit was a must! Great views and especially fun to walk across the glass walkway (maybe scary if you're afraid of heights). A visit to the engine room was also very interesting, so definitely recommended for your visit to London!

My family and I really enjoyed the experience overall and were amazing by the Bridge's craftsmanship. We wwre sorry to hear that 10 people lost their lives in the making of the bridge but thought that was an impressive number since there weren't any harnesses or supports during the time of construction over the 8 years it took to complete. We all agreed we wouldn't be able to do the job these men do especially the scuba divers. I would highly recommend this tour to others and would do this tour again with my family.

On January 2, at precisely 5 p.m., London decided to offer us a moment suspended in time. Samuel and I entered The Shard as if entering another dimension: one where time slows down and the city becomes a living model. As the elevator propelled us skyward, silence descended, almost solemn. Then the doors opened... and suddenly, no words seemed adequate. London stretched out before us, majestic, infinite, bathed in the golden light of late afternoon that felt like a promise. The Thames meandered calmly, the monuments revealed themselves one by one, and even the city, usually so noisy, seemed to whisper its secrets to us. Samuel was smiling, and so was I. There was no need to speak: we were experiencing exactly the same moment, one that we knew was rare, one that would stay with us for a long time. Between two photos (impossible to miss), we felt tiny... but strangely privileged. The Shard is not just a viewpoint, it's an experience. A moment when London is not visited, but contemplated. At 5 p.m., day and night meet, and you leave with the feeling of having touched the sky—and a memory engraved far above the clouds. If you're looking for a place to see London differently, take to the heights. Literally.

Amazing experience, we were going to a concert at the O2 and decided that we would do the climb while we was there. I was a little nervous but Aaron was a great guide and made it a good experience. Would definitely do it again!

Visitor tips and guidelines

  • Best time to visit: Sunset seekers, here's the scoop: plan for 4pm to 6pm for the perfect view. In the summer, though, the sun sets later, so feel free to swing by closer to 8pm for that gorgeous glow!
  • Check the weather: If you're after those unbeatable 40-mile views from The Shard, make sure to check the weather. Clear skies give you the best chance to see the landmarks in all their glory!
  • Photography tips: Get the perfect shot by bringing a zoom lens for detailed close-ups. A polarizing filter will help keep reflections off the glass, and a camera with good low-light settings is a must for those nighttime views.
  • What to wear: Take a light sweater with you because while London might be sunny, it can get surprisingly chilly at The Shard's observation deck! It's better to be safe than shivering!
  • Dining: Planning to dine at The Shard? Book early! Aqua Shard, Oblix, and Hutong offer fantastic food and views that'll make your jaw drop. And Aqua Shard's afternoon tea? It's tea time with a view!
  • Plan a whole day: Just a hop, skip, and jump from The Shard, Borough Market is the perfect spot to grab a tasty bite before or after your visit. And don't forget, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London are nearby, making it easy to squeeze in a little extra sightseeing!
