Enter via the Lower Ward through Henry VIII Gate. Start your visit at St George’s Chapel, move up through the Middle Ward past the iconic Round Tower, and finish your tour at the Upper Ward to explore the State Apartments and Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House.

Walking & accessibility

Expect a steep incline when walking up towards the Middle and Upper Wards. Visitors with limited mobility can request assistance or access step-free routes along designated paths.

Benches are placed throughout the outdoors in the Lower and Upper Wards. For a break, visit the Undercroft Café located beneath the St George's Hall area in the Upper Ward.
