ID & ticketing
Carry your ticket and a valid photo ID when visiting, as you may be asked to verify your booking while collecting pre-booked tickets. Tickets are valid only for the selected date and time slot, so arrive on time to avoid missing your experience.

Boarding procedures
Arrive at the London Eye at your selected time slot and keep your ticket ready for inspection. Follow instructions from staff while boarding and exiting the capsule, and only board when directed to ensure a safe, smooth, and efficient experience for everyone.

Photography
Personal photography and videos are welcome throughout your ride. Mobile phones and cameras are permitted, but be considerate of other guests while taking photos. Professional filming or photography requires prior approval from the London Eye Press Office.

Food & drink
Bottled water is permitted onboard, but outside food, hot drinks, and alcoholic beverages are not allowed. Alcohol may only be consumed as part of selected VIP experiences offered by the London Eye.

Smoking
Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vaping devices, is prohibited throughout the London Eye, including the boarding platform and County Hall. Please use designated smoking areas outside the attraction if needed.

Pets & assistance animals
Pets are not permitted on the London Eye. Certified assistance dogs, including guide, hearing, and service dogs, are welcome onboard to support guests with disabilities.

Accessibility & carers
Guests requiring assistance can book a complimentary carer ticket. You'll need to present valid supporting documentation, such as a CredAbility Access Card or Certificate of Visual Impairment, when entering the attraction.

Children & guardians

Pushchairs & buggies
Pushchairs and buggies are welcome but must be fully folded before boarding. They should remain folded for the duration of the ride to ensure sufficient space and safe movement inside the capsule.

Capacity limits
Each London Eye capsule has a maximum capacity of 25 guests for safety reasons. You must adhere to these limits and follow staff instructions regarding boarding and disembarking.
Restrictions at the London Eye

Prohibited items
Weapons, sharp objects, explosives, fireworks, illegal substances, drones, skateboards, scooters, balloons, flags, banners, and alcohol (unless included as part of an approved VIP experience) are not permitted. All guests and belongings are subject to security screening before entry.

Bag & baggage restrictions
Large suitcases, oversized backpacks, and bulky luggage are not allowed inside the capsules. If needed, you can store luggage at the London Eye's left luggage facility for an additional fee, subject to operating hours.

Tripods & commercial filming
Tripods, large filming equipment, and commercial photography or videography are not permitted without prior approval from the London Eye Press Office.

Re-entry
Once you leave the London Eye after your ride, re-entry is not permitted with the same ticket. If you wish to experience the attraction again, you'll need to purchase a new ticket for another timed entry.
