The most beautiful place in London! A perfect blend of history and modernity 😍 Past, present, and future come together in one unforgettable experience. Our visit lasted about 5 hours — there’s so much to see and explore! We had lunch at the self-service bar inside the Tower. Prices were quite high but it was comfortable.

We really enjoyed visiting these 2 monuments, the Tower for the building and everything it contains, and the bridge for its glass floor in particular! Like everything else we visited, the only language was English 😏

The attraction was very informative and the wardens were helpful and very accommodating. Loved the ravens! And the crown jewels were A-MAZ-ING! Lots of steps to contend with on site so wear comfortable footwear if you go. Booking online made tickets and entry easier. Would highly recommend

I had no idea of everything that was in the Tower. We would have allotted much more time. Fanscinating. The Yeoman, AJ, was an outstanding guide - mixing humor with the history. You should allot 3 hours for the tour!

It was obvious from minute one that the most entertaining part of the experience of the Tower of London was going to be the Yeoman who led the tour. He knew his stuff and educated as well as made us laugh.

The tickets were easy to buy, download and use. Great experience. The Tower itself was extra crowded due to VE Day celebrations. We paid for the headphones which are definitely NOT worth it. The headphones are not user friendly and do not improve the experience.

Absolutely loved the Toer of London. Fantastic place to visit, we visited on a bank holiday weekend and as you can imagine it was busy but the queue flowed very quickly. Lots to see and do, coffee shop, gift shop. Audio tours. An excellent attraction with the Crown Jewels to top it off.

Arriving at 8:30am, the tour of the jewels was carried out in excellent conditions; afterwards, the historical explanations on the use of the different places were very well done; the armor room was extra with pieces in very good condition.

Easy scanning of the tickets on the cell phone, smooth processing. You can stay on the grounds as long as you like The only drawback is that nothing depends on the time slot you have booked, you queue as normal and there is a huge queue at the Crown Jewels.

Purchasing tickets was easy. The tower was beautiful. Exhibits were informational. There were a lot of people! So many people that sometimes it was hard to move freely and see exhibits. My only real complaint is that there were so many people, that the wait to see the Crown Jewels was at least an hour. Unfortunately, we were unable to see them , which was the one thing I was most excited about seeing. I was disappointed about that. Overall, a good experience.

Ticket booking and admission were super reliable. You should plan enough time for the Tower; this is actually a day program. The jewels are beautiful and can be viewed in peace despite the crowds. The crowds are hardly anyone's fault, as we were there too. Apart from that, the Tower is a great and really worth seeing site with lots of small exhibitions and attractions. Overall, London is impressive. You can't see all the highlights with peace, quiet and a sense of culture and art, and it's better to pay the entrance fee selectively. We would rather come back and would be happy to be your customers again. Many thanks and best wishes to the funny ravens.

Using Headout was incredibly easy. The Tower of London was wonderful. We loved all the history. The Crown Jewels are, of course, exquisite. However, be prepared for a line outside and load of people indoors crowding to see the jewels. Tower Bridge was incredible. We were fortunate enough to see the bridge raise from the glass bottom floor. The Cat activity for kids was a hit and my daughter really enjoyed it.

As the Tower and Tower Bridge are close together, a morning and afternoon combination of the two sights is a good idea. We had planned 2 hours for the Tower with two children (aged 7 and 10), which was adequate. We spent the whole afternoon at the Tower. Especially in Tower Bridge, the tour through the museum and the engine room is very entertaining for the children with an accompanying activity.

The tickets were easy to purchase, we chose a dual ticket option with a reduction for seniors. At both places, the staff was very flexible allowing us to enter early. 2 to 3 hours in the Tower is required as there is so much to see. The experience was good. At the London Eye we didn't queue at all, we just got there and went up. It is true that we were a little disappointed. The ride doesn't last long for the price it costs and we didn't like the pictures they took of us. I don't see the point of having a montage taken when you are actually on the attraction. At Tower Bridge there was a queue, but the access was quite fast. It is a curious visit, although not essential. The glass walkway area was crowded.

The name of our tour guide company wasn't on the ticket. Having a guide outside the venue talking to us was a waste of time. Half of what he said was covered by the Beefeater. Who, by the way, was a much better speaker and presenter. We expected to enter the venue earlier than the general public, and be met by a Beefeater. We felt completely ripped off with what we paid.

Guide was great. Met at the assigned location with another family and then received a text from the tour handled(not guide) asking where we were. They eventually told us they were on the opposite side of the gift shop, not the location pictured in the app. Needless added stress and confusion that put my wife in a foul mood. I'll reiterate, the guide was knowledgeable and courteous. It was the communication through the company that was lacking

A Royal Day to Remember! Our visit to London wouldn’t have been complete without experiencing the majesty of both the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace, and each lived up to its iconic status in the most unforgettable way. The Tower of London tour was an absolute highlight—steeped in history, drama, and intrigue. From the moment we stepped inside the ancient fortress, we were transported back in time. The Beefeater guide was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also engaging and witty, bringing centuries of royal history and tales of imprisonment, betrayal, and triumph to life. Seeing the Crown Jewels in person was awe-inspiring—photos don’t do them justice. Walking the old stone walls and standing on the very ground where history unfolded gave us chills. After that, we made our way to Buckingham Palace, and the contrast between the two royal landmarks was a beautiful complement. Where the Tower is historic and rugged, Buckingham Palace is elegant and majestic. Touring the State Rooms, we were struck by their opulence and artistry—everything from the chandeliers to the furniture to the artwork was breathtaking. It was like walking through a living museum of British royal heritage. The Changing of the Guard ceremony added that extra dose of pomp and pageantry, and it truly felt like being part of a centuries-old tradition. Whether you're a history lover or just looking to be inspired by beauty and legacy, these tours are an absolute must. We walked away with a deeper appreciation for the British monarchy and an unforgettable sense of connection to the past. Highly recommend making both a priority when visiting London—together, they offer the perfect blend of grit, grandeur, and glory!

The tour itself and the tour provider were excellent. However, it was not what was advertised. My tour took place on a Monday. According to the tour guide, there was never a Change of Guard on a Monday to observe, however, this was a key part of the tour title and even in reading the small print it said that it did take place on a Monday. Advertising a 'Tower of London Guided Tour', which is in the title and in the small print, is false advertising. We were escorted to the opening ceremony, which was incredible, and then given 50 minutes to look round the tower. Anyone who knows the tower will know this is not enough time, and there was no guide to take us around. Since, for us, the Tower visit was the primary aspect of the tour, this was incredibly disappointing and not explained in the small print. Finally, I wrote to Headout 7 days ago detaling my complaint, and have not heard anything back. I would caution anyone against booking with them in the future.

This was the most fabulous 4-hour tour. Our guide was Natalie. She was attentive to every single person on the tour and made sure we always got the best viewing spots. Our ticket included a Thames ride in addition to the Crown Jewels, Tower of London and changing of the guard at Buckinghma Palace. I truly feel your visit of London would not be complete without it.

Our guide was knowledgeable and personable. The allotted time at the Tower of London would have been awesome if it was even 30 minutes longer. However as part of the tour included a boat ride down the Thames there was a schedule that had to be adhered to.

As the Tower and Tower Bridge are close together, a morning and afternoon combination of the two sights is a good idea. We had planned 2 hours for the Tower with two children (aged 7 and 10), which was adequate. We spent the whole afternoon at the Tower. I'm not just writing a positive review here, but a general one. The boat was easy to find, but it certainly wasn't a 40 minute round trip and we had to get off at a station which we didn't want to do. Then we went on the way home (London Eye Pier) and one stop before that the boat was probably broken and everyone had to get off. At this stop, the guests who were already on board were only told that we should get a new ticket (there was a meter-long queue), although we had a ticket and we got it in advance to avoid these queues. We then went downstairs and nobody said anything. In the end we took the Undergroud back to the London eye because we were already 20 minutes over our timeslot. Luckily we got into the London eye and didn't have to queue, but we were really unlucky with the group inside the eye because they were children who couldn't behave at all and kicked the windows etc. However, this had nothing to do with the ticket from Handout. As a tip, if you book it, allow at least 3 hours between the boat and the eye in case something comes up. It was still nice and you got a perfect impression of London on the first day.

Good price and timing for the combo package. We liked the offer of free cancellation 24h before the event in case of bad weather. Lucky for was it was not the case. The 10:00 boat was very nice as we had live presentation of the main sites along the Thames river. However we didn't realize at the moment of the booking, that the boat cruise was actually a one way cruise. It started at London Eye and ended at the Tower bridge. So we had to run back to London Eye for our next appointment at 11:15. Obviously we missed the appointment and the line grew considerably till we entered the London Eye. But , at the end the weather was gorgeous so we were happy.

The ticket's name was "flexible" and I expected to be able to go off the vessel at any pier and go on at another at a later time on that day. About tickets, when we were accepted, we had to send the email from Headout to the cathedral so they could print out in paper form. The entrance tickets had to be in paper form. I was at the hotel and I don't have a printer and I didn't know. I didn't think it was good because it can happen that there are customers who don't have internet.

We first visited the Tower with the Crown Jewels. We saw everything in 4 hours and it was a great experience. The highlight was then the London Eye. We treated ourselves to Fast Track and that was really great as we could walk through to the gondola without having to wait. A great day.

Access to the tower worked without any problems and without any significant waiting time, as we were there on time for the opening. The Tootbus service was OK, but the other providers were more frequent. The flow of information at Tootbus was not optimal. Nevertheless, we had a great day.

HoponHopoff, it was very nice. We didn't just do one route because you see something different on each one from the bus. You drive right past the sights. The theme boat trip was also wonderful. Tower, you need some time here, we were there for 3 hours and didn't manage to see everything.

The tickets were easy to purchase, we chose a dual ticket option with a reduction for seniors. At both places, the staff was very flexible allowing us to enter early. 2 to 3 hours in the Tower is required as there is so much to see. The audio guide is very worthwhile, Beefeater guide attracts large number. Our trip to Tower Bridge was fascinating, worth visiting the engine room, very interesting.

It would be better if you had a human guide pointing out what you were talking about. On a crowded bus it was hard to tell which building the guide was talking about or even where in the route where you were. No one announcing or display of what stop you were at so you could keep up.

The price was great. We saw the whole of blue line which was 3 1/2 hrs. Great view of the city and short spurts of history thru headphones. River cruise was a different perspective of the city by water. The guide was funny on the water cruise. Tower of London was the 2nd day for us. We stayed about 3 hrs and did the guided audio tour. We really enjoyed it. Always nice to find deals on vacation to save a buck or two.

This allows you to have a pass for several visits to sites and to plan your program simply. Our only disappointment concerned the tourist bus: the service provider included in the pass offered three not very practical circuits. We waited almost 1 hour to take the green route, and after a quarter of an hour it stopped for its break...

Home of the Crown Jewels

Inside the Tower of London, you'll find the Crown Jewels, including the dazzling Imperial State Crown. It's a must-see for anyone curious about Britain's grand ceremonial treasures.

Centuries of history

Step into history with the Tower of London, starting with the imposing White Tower, which dates back to 1086. This ancient fortress, with its array of towers, strong fortifications, and surrounding moat, offers a captivating glimpse into London's architectural past.

Learn its infamous history

Founded by William the Conqueror, the Tower of London bears witness to a somber past. Within its walls, notable figures like Anne Boleyn and Lady Jane Grey were imprisoned, forever linking this site to tales of power, confinement, and tragedy.

Meet a real-life Beefeater

Go on a tour led by one of the Tower's Beefeater (Yeomen Warder) guides. These knowledgeable and entertaining guides will share fascinating stories about the Tower's history, its famous prisoners, and its role in shaping British history.

Visit interactive exhibits

In addition to the guided tours, the Tower of London offers a variety of interactive exhibits that bring history to life, like the Line of Kings exhibition that explores the lives of the monarchs associated with the Tower, or the Medieval Palace exhibition which recreates the atmosphere of the Tower during the Middle Ages.

Things to know before booking Tower of London tickets

  • Ticket options: You can book a standard entry ticket, a guided tour with skip-the-line entry, or a guided tour with a Thames River cruise and Changing of Guards.
  • Combo tours: If you want to explore London further, book a budget-friendly ticket that includes entry to the London Eye, the Tower Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, a London Eye & Thames River cruise combo, or a 24-hour Hop-on Hop-off bus tour, in addition to entry to the Tower of London.
  • What’s included: A standard entry ticket includes entry to the Tower of London, access to The Crown Jewels, entry to the White Tower, the Chapel of St Peter ad Vincula, the Battlements, the Medieval Palace, the Bloody Tower, the Torture at the Tower exhibition, the Fusiliers Museum, the Royal Mint exhibition, and access to the children's activity trails and live historical re-enactments.
  • Guided tours: Take a guided tour to learn more about complex histories and significant sites. It's the perfect way to uncover hidden stories and fascinating details you might miss on your own! Plus, most guided tours allow you to access the Tower when it is less crowded, and you can get your doubts cleared in real time.
  • Discounted tickets: Tickets are available at a reduced rate for youth under the age of 17, students, and seniors above the age of 65. Entry for kids under the age of 5 is free.
  • Cancellation policy: Some Tower of London tickets can be canceled 24-48 hours before the tour commences. Check the cancellation policy for a specific tour before you book it!
  • Visiting during peak hours: To avoid the long lines, book your tickets at least two weeks in advance, especially during peak season from July to September. Set aside at least 2-3 hours to explore the Tower fully! The Crown Jewels are a highlight of the Tower, so plan to visit early—ideally by 9am—or around lunchtime on a weekday to avoid the biggest crowds.
  • Plan your day: If you only have 1-2 hours, arrive as soon as the Tower opens (9am) or towards the end of the day (4pm) so you can avoid long queues and make the most of your time. Prioritize seeing the Crown Jewels, the White Tower, Tower Green, and the execution site. Head to the Crown Jewels first to avoid crowds since it’s the most popular attraction. If you have a whole afternoon, arrive shortly after lunch around 1pm when the Tower is less crowded. Join a 1-hour Beefeater Tour, and explore the White Tower, Battlements, the Medieval Palace, Tower Green, Bloody Tower and Traitors’ Gate, and the Ravens and Tower Walls.
  • Accessibility: While the Tower is wheelchair-friendly, some areas have limited access due to its historic architecture, which includes narrow stairs and passages.

A guided tour helps you navigate the site effectively, ensuring you see the key highlights without getting lost or missing important areas.
