The first major set built for the films, the Great Hall features original house costumes, stone floors from a real monastery, and centuries-old-style banquet tables. It’s where key moments from sorting ceremonies to seasonal feasts were filmed.
Headout is an authorized and trusted partner of the venue, offering curated experiences to enjoy this attraction.
Real sets, real props, real magic! With Harry Potter Studios London tickets, you’ll explore everything from the Hogwarts Express to Aragog’s lair, right where the films were shot. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at the craft that turned a book series into blockbuster cinema.
The studio tour offers a full behind-the-scenes experience inside the original filming location. Learn how each scene was crafted using real sets, visual effects, and detailed production techniques.
Every set is the real thing, not a re-creation. Visit iconic locations from the films, including the Hogwarts Express, Dumbledore’s office, the Great Hall, the Forbidden Forest, and the Potions Classroom, each filled with original props and finishing details.
Kids and adults alike can complete fun challenges like collecting stamps in a Potter Passport or spotting hidden golden snitches across the studio, encouraging a more hands-on and playful experience throughout the visit.
Start with Butterbeer pancakes and other hot foods at the Food Hall, grab a glass of Butterbeer at the Backlot Café, and enjoy some sweet treats at the Chocolate Frog Café. If you’re planning ahead, definitely book the Hogwarts-style dinner or Afternoon Tea in a Great Hall-inspired setting.
You’ll find multiple gift shops packed with studio-exclusive items, including detailed replicas, themed apparel, and collectibles. It’s the best place to pick up meaningful souvenirs tied directly to the films.
The studio constantly refreshes its displays, so returning fans always have something different to see. In autumn, the Dark Arts event fills the sets with eerie lighting, floating pumpkins, and Death Eater duels. At Christmas, “Hogwarts in the Snow” brings snowfall, decorations, and festive Hogwarts scenes.
The Studio showcases incredibly detailed props like potion jars filled with butcher bones and dried herbs, hundreds of memory vials with handwritten labels, and a joke shop machine that theatrically dispenses Puking Pastilles, magical sweets that cause fake vomiting. Every piece was made by skilled artists and designers.
From Hermione’s layered Yule Ball gown to the sporty Quidditch gear and Beauxbatons’ iconic blue uniforms, the Studio showcases original costumes designed to reflect each character’s personality, setting, and storyline. Every detail, fabric choice, and accessory has a purpose and a story.
Though it looks like CGI, the Chamber door’s moving snakes are fully mechanical, created to open onscreen without visual edits. The invisibility cloak’s green lining made characters vanish in post-production. You can try a similar effect using green screen and broomstick rigs at the Studio.
See how lifelike creatures were brought to screen using giant animatronics and expert handcraft. From a 30-foot serpent with slithering jaws to a spider needing 15 puppeteers, each magical beast was built with astonishing detail using feathers, fur, prosthetics and real animal references.
You can see how artists built an entire world using models, sketches and handmade props. The enormous Hogwarts castle model alone took 86 people to create and features real plants, lights and even miniature stonework inspired by historic castles and the Scottish Highlands.

Having pre booked coach transport to and from the Harry Potter Studio made the day so much more relaxed. The on board video was a good introduction to the studio, but the quality of pictures and text on the headrest screens wasn't great. The studio exhibits were excellent, with loads of details and insights throughout that I'd not known beforehand. All in all, a wonderful, enjoyable and hassle free day!
My boys and I , Harry Potter fans, experienced a day completely immersed in a magical atmosphere! Beautiful experience
You walk through the original movie sets, be it the great hall or the train station, Winkelgasse and many others. It was overwhelming
I spent the day there with my little nephew, 10 years old and a big fan. He loved everything about it, especially the great hall, the Hogwarts model and the diagonal alley.
Everything was perfect. I would have put 5 stars, but the bus for transport was a normal bus, not the double-decker bus with the HP theme.
I loved the experience, it was wonderful and super magical!!!
It was great. And easy to locate.
Diagon Alley, Gringotts, Gringotts and Dragon, Hagrid's head, Dobby.
This experience is perfect for us as a family.
A wonderful experience beyond initial expectations. A guide of great professionalism and with a very very interesting speech. We have seen the park from another perspective
The smooth organization from pick up through the actual visit until returning to London. Everyone was also so friendly and professional
Everything went smoothly as booked. Despite the earlier arrival at the studios, we were able to start the tour straight away. 👍
While pretty overpriced, the tour bus transportation included with admission was efficient and convenient. No complaints about the driver or the tour guide.
The studios are amazing, we really enjoyed everything, however it would have been great to have an extra hour on site before having to embark on the bus again as there is so much to see and discover . We arrived at the studios at around 10 am and had to leave with the bus again at 2pm already, 5 hours on site would be great instead of 4.
I was surprised at how much we enjoyed this adventure. Having a dedicated guide was amazing. We went back through after the official tour was over to make sure we saw everything we wanted. I would do this again and would highly recommend it to others.
The studios were fantastic! I would have expected a bit more from the bus ride. At least a "welcome, here we go" would have been great, considering the price.
The setting, the varied information about the ins and outs, the magic of seeing the care and attention and the many people who have made it possible to capture the world of JK Rowling in what we saw on the screen....
The studios are well showcased, and the whole world of the films is clearly visible. The dimensions are impressive. More time on site would have been better for a complete visit. Combo bus trip and tickets a bit expensive, but organization impeccable and well-oiled.
The 3-hour tour is far too short. It's better to travel there yourself and spend the whole day there. We drove back ourselves at our own expense after 6 hours. The whole thing is then also much cheaper!
Beautiful experience if you are a fan of the saga. It takes more time than we thought. You could spend the whole day there. You learn a lot about what it takes to make a movie, the amount of people that work, the sacrifice that such a production represents for everyone involved. It's really worth it.
A bit colder air on the bus would have been nice😅we liked the tour at wb but it kinda felt a bit rushed, i wish we could have gotten some more time at the venue, otherwise we are very pleased with the trip
The Studios are truly unmissable for an enthusiast and very interesting for anyone. However, because of the many things to see, it would be worth considering a little extra time to avoid a clock-watching ride during the tour. On the certainly very comfortable auotobus ride, it would have been nice to see a Harry Potter-themed movie or video.
Luxury comfortable bus, right om time with good driver. We got to spend 4 hours at the HP studio's, instead of the 3 hours I saw at other likewise companies. We could not have seen everything in 3 hours, really needed 4 for a comfortable pace with an excited kid. The butterbeer was disgusting, would not recommend unless you like the cup.
Incredible to see all the work behind the scenes! The production, the special effects, everything. Very good interactive games for kids and not so kids! We had a lot of fun besides learning about cinema.
Fast trip and pretty comfortable 🥰 the visit to the studios was amazing and loved every single place.

Our guide made the tour so fun and interesting. We love all her stories telling and jokes. Thanks for making it a memorable Oxford experience for me and my family.
Day trip to Oxford was great! We were given some free time to wander around after the introduction to the various schools and Harry Potter shooting sights.. Harry Potter Studio Tour was awesome and it definitely meets my expectation!! Would have been much better if we could spend more time there!
It was an experience unbelievable !
It was an awsome experience. our guide amber really take it to the next level . she make every thing interesting. the best guide ever. highly recommended
We really enjoyed the tour. Our three children also enjoyed Oxford, our local guide Chris was fabulous and enriched the city tour with lots of funny stories. The guide on the bus, Dan, also made our time on the bus pass quickly with lots of amusing anecdotes and stories about things worth knowing about London. The 4 hours in the Harry Potter Studios were also great, you manage to see everything. With more time you could of course read through everything more intensively, but it was definitely very good as it was. A clear recommendation from all of us.
We had an amazing time with Valentina and Chris! Valentina woke us all up on the bus with her jokes and her expansive history knowledge. Chris was our amazing local guide in Oxford and kept everyone engaged. He was amazing at keeping us safe and our wallets safer with great reccommendations for shops and cafes! Everyone was so amazing with this experience that I definately will be recommending it to everyone I know looking for a fun Harry Potter trip!
Tour Guide was amazing and funny. Really did a great job and the travel time was shorter thanks to his entertainment in the bus😁🙌. Harry Potter Studio Tour is a must see for a fan. Amazing!
Holy smokes, what an absolutely EPIC day! If you're even thinking about doing the Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour with a Day Trip to Oxford from London, stop thinking and just BOOK IT! Seriously, this was a five-star experience from start to finish. Our journey started with Dan, who was nothing short of phenomenal. He wasn't just a guide; he was a walking, talking encyclopedia of awesome historical facts and background. The drive to Oxford and then on to the Warner Bros. Studios flew by thanks to his captivating commentary. He kept us engaged and provided such fantastic context for everything we were about to see. And then there was Debbie leading our Oxford adventure! Oh my goodness, Debbie was an absolute blast. She brought Oxford to life with her fun and vibrant personality. We learned so much and laughed even more. Both Dan and Debbie were brilliant at answering every single question thrown their way – no matter how obscure! They are a dynamic duo who made this trip truly unforgettable. If you want a day packed with magic, history, and a whole lot of fun, you HAVE to experience this tour with Dan and Debbie. You won't regret.
I was expecting a tour of Oxford really filming around Harry Potter filming location ect ... a bus related to Harry Potter but not a history course on Oxford we were very disappointed an experience that I would do more with you.
Simply amazing!!!!. Oxford beautiful and the studios full of magic. An experience not to be missed!!!!!. 100% recommendable.
The tour was very well organized. The guide did a great job so that it wasn't boring. The tour of the studios was really great. Very worth seeing.
Debbie took us on the Oxford city tour and it was an experience that we will never forget, it is a gift to have met this great woman. It couldn't have been better, the transportation by bus was also very nice.
The tour guide was so lovely and caring, besides getting to know Oxford and the studios was simply unique for me
Lucy is a great tour operator, she made it exceptionally fun.
Increíble of you Love the behind the scenes
We loved our guide Debbie in oxford. Harry Potter studio experience was also awesome.
The bus driver and "guide" were lovely. The marketing of this particular tour was misleading. I spoke to a couple of other attendees that agreed. Too short of time in Oxford and tickets to the studios should have been available when we departed the bus. We had to wait for tickets to be purchased and then we had to wait in the regular line that kept growing as we waited for our tickets. And also, the marketing indicated a guided tour, attendees gave each other the look when we were informed there would be no guided tour in the studios. There is a freee shuttle to the studios and back, I suggest using that instead of a tour company.

We doubted for a moment that someone was actually coming to pick us up at the pick-up spot because the one who was there was a little later. But fortunately there were more waiting. The guidance was good from the starting point to the studios. Via this route very pleasant to get there. Once there we were guided in a small group by an enthusiastic gentleman. Highly recommended! Costs a bit but you have more value for money and day.
A wonderful experience beyond initial expectations. A guide of great professionalism and with a very very interesting speech. We have seen the park from another perspective
I was surprised at how much we enjoyed this adventure. Having a dedicated guide was amazing. We went back through after the official tour was over to make sure we saw everything we wanted. I would do this again and would highly recommend it to others.
Excellent organization to visit the Harry Potter studios. Impeccable and speedy travel from London by train and shuttle, one guide for the journey and one guide for the tour itself with a small group of eight, our guide, Kyle, was exceptional, over a four-hour duration! A little more expensive, but definitely worth it, plus they have availability with little notice although the site itself is "sold out".
Beautiful experience if you are a fan of the saga. It takes more time than we thought. You could spend the whole day there. You learn a lot about what it takes to make a movie, the amount of people that work, the sacrifice that such a production represents for everyone involved. It's really worth it.
It was a great experience, a little expensive.
Everything! Specifics - Will our tour guide was great! Specifically his insight into everything. - Being in the actual locations of filming - Seeing how things were done (props / designs) - All the interactive elements of the displays --- Only issue the whole day was there were too many people going home at once for the shuttles running.
Great insights about the making of, the ideas and the many details within the Harry Potter movies. Very impressive and very well explained by our very and knowlegeable and highly motivated and smart guide Miriam (I hope the name is correct! 😉)
We really enjoyed the guided tour of the Harry Potter studios. It was worth booking the private tour. They explained things very well and we avoid some queues. The staff was very friendly. 🙂
Incrediable to learn all the details of making the movies
It was easy to find the guide, because the coordinates led you right to him. We got into the Warner Bross Harry Potter museum quickly and the tour guide was fantastic, attentive and child-centred.
We had asked for a guide in French, she only spoke two words in French, the children didn't understand anything, no possibility of stopping to take our photos, really disappointed.
This experience was amazing! Josh took us to "Harry Potter's studio" by train and then by bus. He explained us how to go back to London by our own very well. Kim was very kind, lovely. She was a wonderful guide, she entertained everyone with her anecdotes. She was tuned to our interests and our situation. (we are french).
Everything was clearly organized, our tour guide that we met in the train station was super nice, friendly and answered all our questions with a big smile. We were smoothly checked in, by passed all the ques, and that was the most important thing about the whole idea, otherwise my kids wouldn't have ben able to see and know more than 30% of the whole.place as it is really crowded, It's worth it, i highly recommend it 👌.
All those details the guide explained during the guided tour! Awesome! Just amazing.

It was like in the film. We loved every moment of our trip. The time was enough but you need to check it because it may pass quickly. The bus was comfortable.
We found the tour incredibly interesting, even if we're not the biggest fans, it's definitely worth seeing all the sets from the movies and learning the background behind them 😊
Having pre booked coach transport to and from the Harry Potter Studio made the day so much more relaxed. The on board video was a good introduction to the studio, but the quality of pictures and text on the headrest screens wasn't great. Wow 🤩 We absolutely loved our whole experience with Headout. My Harry Potter friend flew in from Adelaide and was keen for the tour. Easy booking system, we were kept up to date with notifications and reminders. Easy coach transfer to Harry Potter World. Amazing experience that we will definitely be recommending to friends and family. We also loved trying the 'Butter Beer' on the studio tour.
We did arrive early in the morning which was alot better because after 12 it was so crowded. It was a great experience even if your not a Harry Potter fan it is great to see the behind the scenes.
I loved the experience, it was wonderful and super magical!!!
It was great. And easy to locate.
More than I was expecting to get! Was a great experience!
Diagon Alley, Gringotts, Gringotts and Dragon, Hagrid's head, Dobby.
Very well done from start to finish. All of the team members were very nice and helpful.
This experience is perfect for any Harry Potter fan.
This experience is perfect for us as a family.
The Warner Bros. experience was fantastic.
The tour itself was great and I recommend Warner Bros Harry Potter studios to everyone. Wonderful experience. But the bus should return people to the same spot they pick us up from, we were confused at night since we didn't know where we were dropped off. And they should consider picking people up/return them from/to their hotel since this is kinda expencive trip. And there is no movie on the bus.
Harry Potter is simply fantastic. Everything was very well organized with the arrival and then in the film studios we were of course not the only ones, but still: worth an experience - even if you are not a Harry Potter fan
The time on site was far too short. We weren't even able to see half of it in that time, so we decided not to take their bus back. So of course we incurred further costs for the return journey. We had the feeling that no one from the company had ever looked at the studios and therefore the time was completely misjudged. A great pity, especially at such a price. We were there with 3 people and for that price others go on vacation for a few days.
Transport was comfortable and startet at the right time. The HP Studios were great. Only it could be more time there. 4 hours are simply not sufficient.
A great bus driver, punctual departure, everything well organized. Unfortunately not in the Harry Potter bus as expected, but in a "normal" coach. That would have been my highlight.
The smooth organization from pick up through the actual visit until returning to London. Everyone was also so friendly and professional
The attraction itself is very good, as for the transportation I can say that the departure was delayed by 30 minutes and that the screen where you could see videos about the attraction was not working properly and could not be used.
Everything went smoothly as booked. Despite the earlier arrival at the studios, we were able to start the tour straight away. 👍

There were too many queues inside the attraction. Too many people at the same time in the halls, so we couldn't get a good look. We were jostled. With children, this is neither pleasant nor acceptable. We didn't experience this at any of the other major attractions in Europe.
The pick up was great! So was the driver. The Harry potter tour was amazing, on point
Excellent experience. 4 hours were not enough time. I regretted not having stayed there and returned on my own.
I've seen other Harry Potter exhibits before, but this is the best as it includes major sets as well as costumes. I thoroughly enjoyed the interactive aspect of some of the exhibits as well!
The driver informed us in advance via Whattsapp when he would pick us up at the hotel. He was super punctual. The 4 hours at Warner Brothers Studio were very impressive.
We have booked Harry Potter in London and the organisation are verry good. The pickup from the Hotel was greate incl. transfer to the Studios. We will book again by headout
The studio tour is absolutely fantastic. But the cab ride was inadequate: the driver was over an hour late. That might still happen. However, the pick-up time was not pushed back, so I also had an hour less time for the tour.
Ease of purchase and receipt of tickets
Harry Potter was great but the tour guide was very stressed and called several times before the agreed departure time and wrote WhatsApps that we could / should go
Great driver, very punctual and flexible. Top service all round.
A journey into another reality. Rated 10
