My husband and I came to London from the states for our one year anniversary! Our highlight of the trip has been the London eye. We went on the most beautiful day of the week and were able to see and enjoy all of London most famous sites! My favorite photo is the one I Took of Big Ben. We booked through Headout and the process was so simple! It was a great price and we were able to scan our tickets in the app, hop online, and after a very short wait, we boarded the London eye. I hope we can come back soon and do it again!

The weather was hazy and windy, we were a bit scared, but the gondolas didn't shake at all! On one side the sky opened up a bit for the sunset and on the other side the fog rolled in. It was fantastic!

Things to know before you book London Eye tickets

  • Book online: The London Eye welcomes over 3.5 million visitors annually, making it one of London's most popular attractions. To guarantee your entry and avoid disappointment, we highly recommend you book London Eye tickets online in advance. Online ticket holders receive priority over on-the-spot buyers, and since daily capacity is significantly reduced, on-site tickets are not always available. Moreover, booking on the day does not give you the chance to avail of online discounts and offers.
  • Types of tickets: You can choose between standard entry, fast-track or fast-track flexi tickets, the Champagne Experience, or combo tickets to nearby attractions.
  • What’s included: Your London Eye ticket includes entry to the London Eye and a 30-min ride on one of the 32 capsules. From the top, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the skyline and popular attractions, as far as 25 miles on a clear day, from the unobstructed glass pods.
  • Fast-track access: Since the London Eye is a popular experience, the queue can take anywhere between 30 mins to one hour, especially during peak times like school holidays, long weekends, during the summer, and on bank holidays. To avoid the queues, book London Eye fast track tickets. This is especially valuable if you're on a tight schedule, prefer to maximize your sightseeing time, or are travelling with fussy kids. Fast-track flexi tickets offer the added benefit of allowing you to visit anytime during the day you select at checkout.
  • Premium experience: Looking for something extra special, especially against the evening or twilight skyline? Perfect for romantic occasions, anniversaries, or celebrations, book the Champagne Experience, where you enjoy priority access to the London Eye and a hosted serving of a glass of chilled Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut (or non-alcoholic alternative).
  • Combo tickets: If you’re budget-conscious, travelling solo, visiting the city for the first time, or looking for popular attractions to visit on the same day, combo tickets are the perfect choice. Save between 5% and up to 51%, depending on the ticket, for a Thames River cruise with optional fast-track entry, a 24 or 48-hour Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour, or entry to the Tower of London with optional fast-track entry, Madame Tussauds, SEA LIFE London Aquarium with optional fast-track entry, or the Tower Bridge.
  • Timed entry: The timeslot you choose at check-out is when you can join the queue. Note that you will not be allowed to join the queue until the booked time slot.
  • Discounted tickets: Children between the ages of 3 and 15 can avail of the London Eye discount price. Children below the age of 3 can enter for free.
  • Cancellation policy: Plans change? No problem! All London Eye tickets can be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
  • What to bring: You are required to bring a photo ID along with the payment card to collect your pre-booked tickets from the London Eye. Any ID with a clear picture of the individual on it will suffice. Note that you do not need to print the tickets. You can show the ticket on your mobile and enter the ride.
